Jessica Anne Pomerleau-Halnon passed away on August 21, 2020 after a courageous two-year battle with breast cancer. She lived an inspired life of passion and joy with a desire to make the world around her a better place. Her light shone brightly for 36 years; even throughout her illness, her loving spirit never dimmed. And that light will live on in everyone who loved her.
A strong sense of community brought Jess back to her hometown of Burlington, Vermont where in July 2011 she opened Jess Boutique on the Church Street Marketplace in the heart of downtown. She was a successful business owner on a mission to help all women feel more confident. Jess curated a collection focusing on comfort and feeling, as much as style. She used her shop as a force for good, supporting women, and giving back through local organizations.
